TinyMCE: Remove ‘path’ from status bar, Disable resizing, or remove the status bar completely

While working on a project, I have been playing with TinyMCE’s configuration options to suit my needs. I was looking to disable the status bar from showing as I was going for a simplistic set up. Providing you’re using the advanced theme in TinyMCE you will have these options available to you:

1
2
3
4
5
6
tinyMCE.init({
...
theme_advanced_statusbar_location : "bottom", //This can be top, bottom or none
theme_advanced_path : false, //Set to false to stop path from showing in status bar
theme_advanced_resizing : false //False will stop the draggable resize icon from showing in the status bar, as well as disabling resizing.
});

To hide path, but show the status bar and resizing:

1
2
3
4
5
6
tinyMCE.init({
...
theme_advanced_statusbar_location : "bottom",
theme_advanced_path : false,
theme_advanced_resizing : true
});

Show path in status bar, but disable resizing:

1
2
3
4
5
6
tinyMCE.init({
...
theme_advanced_statusbar_location : "bottom",
theme_advanced_path : true,
theme_advanced_resizing : false
});

To hide the status bar completely, which is what I was trying to achieve:

1
2
3
4
tinyMCE.init({
...
theme_advanced_statusbar_location : "none"
});

The status bar and options only work with the advanced theme (theme : “advanced” in init options).
